Long title. 🙂 I thought I’d sum up the remaining part of our trip now. It was just a wonderful time spent with so many old and new friends. And, surprisingly enough, the 3,300+ miles worth of hours in the car with Mike truly flew by. We had a great time together.
We stopped by the Nazarene Global Ministry Center in Lenexa, Kansas with good friend and fellow missionary Kindra who happened to be back home in the area.
We stayed with sweet friends in Missouri for the night – friends we met in Peru last June! Aren’t they a beautiful family?
We were able to spend a couple nights in Wisconsin at Mike’s grandparents’ home, and many of his relatives were able to stop by to say hi!
We then went to Sioux Falls and stayed with wonderful friends from NNU – the Pates!
We couldn’t get that far and not see Mount Rushmore…
Thanks to Wayne for housing us in Wyoming and introducing us to his neighbor, Pete, a coach for UW.
And double thanks to Aunt Neva who has housed us on both ends of this big, crazy trip!!
There are LOT more pictures on facebook, but I didn’t want to upload twice. 🙂 Click here to see them.
It’s easy to say, but Mike and I truly were blessed on this trip in so man ways. Seeing old friends, dear family members, new places and making new friends made this trip a blast. Thanks one more time to all of those who housed us, fed us and just loved on us. What a trip!
